- Открыть «Проводник»;
- Правой кнопкой нажать на «Этот компьютер» (или «Мой компьютер»);
- В контекстном меню кликнуть на «Свойства»;
- В открывшемся окне слева нажать на «Дополнительные параметры системы»;
- В открывшемся окне перейти на вкладку «Дополнительно»;
- В разделе «Быстродействие» нажать на кнопку «Параметры…»;
- В открывшемся окне перейти на вкладку «Дополнительно»;
- Снять флажок с параметра «Автоматически выбирать объем файла подкачки» (если есть);
- Поставить флажок напротив опции «Указать размер»;

Overview[]
They are an infantry-focused civilization that can access the powerful Sebastapol Mortar, a unique artillery piece that annihilates most land units. However, Sebastapol Mortars struggle against enemy artillery pieces.
The Ethiopians generate influence through Mountain Monasteries, unique buildings that are placed on top of coin mines. They can also generate influence through livestock, mainly through Zebu cattle, which generate 0.15 influence per second while semi-fattened and 0.65 influence per second when fully fattened. Zebu cattle can be trained at the Livestock Market. Players can also research the 250 gold Royal Feast technology at the Livestock Market that will trade in all the player’s livestock for a large lump sum of influence.
Most of an Ethiopian player’s military units are trained at the War Camp. At the War Camp they can train: the Dragoon-like Javelin Rider, the Musketeer-esque Gascenya, the Coyote-Runner-esque Shotel Warrior, their Skirmisher unit the Neftenya, and their ranged heavy cavalry unit the Oromo Warrior.
At the Watch Tower, Ethiopian players can train special outlaw units: The Desert Warrior, a Javelin-throwing unit whose armor type changes with their stance; the Desert Archer, who acts like a Longbowman at long range and a fast-firing Yumi Archer up close; and the Desert Raider, an Oprichnik-like camel-riding cavalry unit that excels against buildings and villagers. These special outlaw units have a higher population cost than the units trained at the War Camp.
The third military building used by the Ethiopians is the Palace. At the Palace, special units earned through age-up options and expensive mercenaries can be trained. The player can also train Falconets, Culverins, and Mortars after the technology Imported Cannons is researched. All units trained at the Palace cost influence, and many of them have a high population cost. Special units trained at the Palace are not upgraded the same way that War Camp units are upgraded. Instead, they shadow technologies like units trained from the Asian Consulate, becoming stronger with each age-up. The Sebastopol Mortar is trained at the Palace.
Ethiopian players have the Arabs as an Imperial Age option. This age-up option will let Ethiopian players train Gatling Camels and Mamelukes from their Palace.
war of the triple alliance
Создатель: Wars of Liberty Team

History[]
| “ | Riders with lances had better range than halberdiers, so halberdiers often fought alongside Pikemen. The axe blade of a halberd was more than capable of cleaving plate armor, flesh and bone alike, but because the halberdier had to swing the long weapon with both hands, he was virtually defenseless when attacking. This required tight coordination and unwavering resolve within a regiment of halberdiers.The halberd is essentially a very long-handled axe. It was a six foot staff of stout oak or ash topped by a long, stabbing spear point and a heavy axe blade balanced by a spike. The spear point was used to thrust and stab, the axe blade to cut through a mounted warrior’s heavy armor, and the spike opposite the axe blade to push, or pull, riders off balance. | ” |

History[]
| “ | While the recorded history of Ethiopia goes back several millennia, the region’s early modern history opens with a tumultuous conflict known to posterity as the Ethiopian-Adal War (1529-1543). The ruling Solomonic dynasty of Ethiopia struggled initially against the Adal forces of the intrepid Ahmad Gragn, whose deft use of Ottoman artillery gained him the upper hand in several battles. The Adal occupation lasted over a decade, but the Solomonic dynasty, led by the tenacious Queen Sabla Wengel and the formerly exiled Emperor Gelawdewos, eventually threw off the foreign yoke and defeated Gragn. Instrumental in this victory were the tattered remnants of a Portuguese expeditionary force led by Cristovao da Gama, who perished in the process. Gelawdewos then sought to turn the tables and invade Adal, but suffered the same fate as the overconfident Gragn and was slain in turn in 1559.Next to attempt to subjugate the resurgent Ethiopian state was the Ottoman Empire, which seized several key locations on the coast but was unable to push further inland. Further threats ensued from a new power: the Harar Sultanate, which had assumed control of the lands ruled by the crumbling Adal Sultanate. Although these were parried successfully, constant conflict and climatic conditions culminated in unstable conditions that caused a series of mass migrations of East African people-groups into the Ethiopian sphere of influence. Most notable among these were the Oromo, hardy pastoralists and fierce warriors who would attain immense power within the fragmenting Ethiopian state and retain it for centuries.By the late 17th century, Ethiopia had devolved into a patchwork of loosely knit localist entities that could only barely be said to answer to the imperial mantle. This all changed during the reign of Iyasu the Great (r. 1682-1706), who inaugurated a long programme of reforms across various spheres from political centralization to infrastructure, cultural growth, and foreign diplomacy. His untimely death, however, sent the recovering state into a tailspin. The resulting power vacuum was filled by a series of competing clans and princes, who by five decades later had reduced a once-powerful state into little more than an anarchical patchwork of feudal demesnes where ruthless warlords ruled by force. This so-called Era of the Princes lasted nearly a century.In 1855, Kassa Hailu, a shifta (brigand) turned magnate, triumphed over his rival warlords and was crowned Emperor Tewodros II. Desperate to modernize his fledgling nation, Tewodros resorted to the shocking decision to kidnap European officials and missionaries and barter them for help from European powers in industrializing Ethiopia. This scheme backfired violently, as the British responded with a full-scale invasion, annihilated Tewodros’ armies with ease, and rescued the hostages, leaving Ethiopia once more in a volatile situation. Despite this setback, the Ethiopian state recovered quickly. After the so-called Scramble for Africa commenced during the following decades, Ethiopia was notable as one of the few regions on the African continent that eluded the talons of European imperial colonialism. | ” |
History[]
| “ | France began the age of exploration as one of the more powerful nations in Europe economically, militarily, and geographically. Initially they trailed the Spanish and Portuguese in the quest for overseas trade and empire, but made significant progress in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. They were exploring and attempting to settle North America before the British, attracted by the fishing off Newfoundland, fur trading, and their search for a northwest passage around the Americas to the Pacific Ocean and Asia.A sixteenth century settlement in Florida was wiped out by the Spanish. Several attempts to settle in Nova Scotia and along the St. Lawrence River finally resulted in a permanent settlement in Quebec. From there intrepid explorers, including Champlain, Marquette, and many others, worked their way through the Great Lakes and down the Mississippi to its mouth. They established better relations with the Native Americans than any other European nation, mainly because they encouraged fur trading and were less interested in permanent settlement. French trappers and traders came to America in relatively small numbers to make a fortune in furs, and then returned home. They eventually built a string of trading posts and forts along the interior trade route at New Orleans, St. Louis, Mackinac Island, Detroit, and Fort Duquesne (modern Pittsburgh).French involvement in Europe, India, and the Caribbean meant that colonizing efforts in Canada were not strongly or systematically supported. The efforts of the smaller French population to keep the rapidly growing British bottled up along the Atlantic seaboard could not be sustained. When war came in the eighteenth century, Canada was lost in battle and traded at the negotiation table for some spice islands in Indonesia. The French retained their control of the Mississippi and Missouri River watersheds until the early nineteenth century, when Napoleon sold France’s vast holdings to the fledgling United States to support his wars in Europe. | ” |
Trivia[]
- The flag used by the Dutch in Age of Empires III is a double Princevlag with the orange stripes changed to red that has been in use since 1572, although it is no longer commonly used today. It was changed to the standard three-striped Princevlag (1572–1795) in the Definitive Edition
According to a unused textures in the game files (dutch.ddt), the Dutch flag in the game would be the Flag of Netherlands (used by the Kingdom of Netherlands between 1813–present) with the Coat of arms of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the center.
.
- Female Dutch Settlers are the only ones to say their respective dialogues for building, while the male ones settlers only use the generic Dutch dialogues instead.
- The Dutch originally had the Crossbowman, and there are unused voice files for Dutch Crossbowmen in the scenario editor and game files.
- The Dutch could train Musketeers normally in the Barracks in the beta; they can still send Musketeers through the Stadhouders upgrade at the Church.
- The Dutch and the Portuguese are the only civilizations to make no appearance in the , with the Dutch being the only civilization of the original game to make no appearance, not even in the new Historical Battles of the Definitive Edition. However, they appear in the third scenario of The Art of War.
- The architecture style of the Dutch post Exploration Age is mainly timber framing. This is historically inaccurate as this style was used predominantly in Europe while Dutch colonies in North America used Dutch colonial baroque instead. The Bank building uses the proper Dutch style.

In-game dialogue[]
These Japanese words or sentences spoken in this game are grammatically correct and generally standard with no particular regional dialect, but some of them are old-fashioned or pronounced with a foreign accent. The accents and styles of the language spoken by Japanese units are as follows:
- The female villager speaks modern standardized Japanese with some non-standard (apparently foreign) accent.
- The male villager speaks modern standardized Japanese with a standard Tokyo accent.
- The Ikko-Ikki speaks a kind of typically theatrical and conventional Japanese which is characterized by its old-fashioned word usage and its stylized pronunciation of words. The style of the language spoken by the monk is like that of Jidaigeki, a genre of film and television drama that depicts the life of Japan in pre-modern times. The monk sometimes speaks with the copula ja (じゃ), which, if used by a fictional character (and not as a regional dialect), usually signifies that the speaker is an old or archaic person, especially male one.
- Military units, including Daimyo and , speak a kind of theatrical Japanese characterized by its old-fashioned word usage. Some of them speak with a standard accent, while others speak with some non-standard accent.

Overview[]
The Halberdier is a powerful hand infantry unit, good against cavalry, but vulnerable to Skirmishers. It is similar to the Pikeman in terms of its purpose and function. However, it is more versatile, dealing more damage to non-cavalry units, has more health and damage, and can be upgraded to Guard and Imperial, but has less speed and siege damage when accounted for cost. Halberdiers have extremely high attack and hit points for an infantry unit, but are slow, and thus unable to catch up to almost anything to get into melee. This makes them much better at defensive purposes than as a primary offensive unit. The Dutch are somewhat able to overcome this weakness by combining the «Military Reforms» Home City Card and Military Drummers for a total of 5.2 speed. Training 5-10 Halberdiers and placing them behind artillery to guard from cavalry flanks is an extremely cost-effective way to defend cannons. Unlike Musketeers, they will automatically block and melee down cavalry, and can go into cover mode, which greatly increases their durability.
Additionally, Halberdiers are able to beat almost any melee infantry that gets into combat with them (with the notable exception of the Jaguar Prowl Knight), making them more versatile than Pikemen.
In the Definitive Edition, the Dutch can train Halberdiers as early as the Commerce Age if they Age up with The Logistician.
Upgrades
The Halberdier starts at the Veteran level, though this does not increase their hit points and attack.
If made available in the Commerce Age by Aging up with The Logistician for the Dutch, Halberdiers will be automatically upgraded to Veteran when the player reaches the Fortress Age.
