The game has received generally positive ratings. Although most critics have noted the striking similarities in gameplay that Saints Row shares with releases from the Grand Theft Auto series, they have also praised the game for the inclusion of new features and its improvement of existing ones from GTA. Saints Row has received ratings of 95/100 from GamePro, 8.75/10 from Game Informer, 80/100 from Official Xbox Magazine, 8.5/10 from IGN, 8.4/10 from GamerNode, and 8.3/10 from GameSpot. GamePro called it «the best reason to own an Xbox 360 this side of Oblivion», while IGN noted, «Hate it if you want to, snicker at its obvious me-too qualities, but don’t forget to recognize impressive, kick-ass gameplay as you walk out the door.» Saints Row has received an average critic score of 82% on Game Rankings and 81% on Metacritic.[reference?]

Most critics have praised the «Activities» and the online multiplayer, as well as the free-form control scheme. Common complaints about the game are over graphical problems, as well as forced, hit-or-miss humor. While the robust character creation mode was praised, several gaming publications also complained about the main character’s lack of dialogue.[reference?]

Although welcomed by critics and fans alike, the online multiplayer suffered from significant lag upon the game’s debut, making it difficult to play. This issue was mostly fixed by a patch that took 2 months to develop.

As of November 2006, Saints Row had sold more than 1 million copies.[reference?]

Saints Row received awards from GameSpot for «Most Surprisingly Good Game of 2006», as well as Gaming Target for one of 52 Games We will Still Be Playing From 2006 selection.

Saints Row has since joined the Xbox 360 lineup of «Platinum Hits» games, being rebranded and sold for US$19.99.

FTL: Multiverse (Русская версия)

FTL: Multiverse – мод с многочисленными исправлениями и изменениями в игровом процессе. Космический симулятор Faster Than Light получил множество нового контента. В открытом мире теперь существует больше фракций и рас, взаимодействующих между собой. Игрок способен опробовать свыше 100 добавленных звездолетов и столкнуться с 500+ кораблями соперников. Каждое судно обладает уникальной характеристикой и апгрейдами. Пользователь побывает в роли путешественника по Мультивселенной. SIFU. Чьё кунг-фу сильнее

В 2017-м студия Sloclap выпустила Absolver. Игра цепляла приятным визуалом, трогательной атмосферой и навороченной боевой системой. Геймеры познавали сложные приёмы, колотили боссов и нещадно лупили друг друга. Теперь разработчики работают над Sifu. Акцент в игре вновь сделан на сложной боёвке, но концепция заметно похорошела. Поединки стали ещё эффектнее, а визуал — технологичнее.

В Sifu будет необычная механика старения. С каждым поражением персонаж становится старше, опытнее и мощнее. Уступать в бою слишком часто всё же не стоит — в конце концов герой может умереть навсегда. Это отправит геймера в самое начало игры.

Sifu планировали выпустить в этом году, но из-за пандемии Sloclap не успевает в срок. Оценить проект удастся лишь 22 февраля.

When in Stilwater, driving a vehicle is faster and safer than walking. Vehicles are either two door or four which allows 3 passengers to accompany Playa. Most cars can be customized at Rim Jobs. Customizable features include body mods, rims, color changes, hydraulics and nitrous. Some vehicles cannot be customized as they are unique or not available for it. Vehicles are available through purchase at a car dealership, Cheats or stealing. Most cars have a specific location in places to obtain and some have certain times.

Saints Row IV (2013)

И это нашло свой отклик у аудитории: только за первую неделю с момента релиза продажи Saints Row IV составили один миллион копий.

Age of Empires 4. Возвращение культовой стратегии

Gangs and characters[]

Stilwater is ruled primarily by four gangs:

3rd Street Saints

Main Article: 3rd Street Saints

The purple-clad gang which Playa joins. The gang is racially diverse, specializing in gang warfare in an attempt to take back the city from the other gangs and restore peace. The Saints are led by Julius Little, with lieutenants Johnny Gat, Dex, and Troy Bradshaw backing him up. Lin works as a spy to infiltrate the Rollerz and Aisha is a R&B singer from Saint’s Row signed on with the Vice Kings’ record label, Kingdom Come Records. The Saints start their operations from a derelict church in a run-down residential area on East side of Stilwater.

Los Carnales

Main Article: Los Carnales

Primarily made up of Hispanics and Caucasians and sporting red colors, Los Carnales specialize in arms and drug trafficking. Hector Lopez leads the gang with his brother Angelo Lopez, who is dating Luz. Victor Rodriguez is their enforcer, and Manuel Orejuela is the contact between Los Carnales and the Colombian drug lords. The Carnales operate primarily out of the region around the airport and the run-down industrial areas of Stilwater.

Vice Kings

Main Article: Vice Kings

The Vice Kings are a mix of African-Americans and Caucasians, and run much of Stilwater’s entertainment, including retail, prostitution, and music. The gang is led by Benjamin King with the assistance of ex-hip hop artist Warren Williams and enforcer Tony Green. Tanya Winters is a prostitute who hooked up with Anthony and worked her way into running the prostitution ring. The Vice Kings’ gang colors are yellow. The Vice Kings’ main territory is the opulent commercial/downtown area, home to big business, museums and exclusive shopping areas.

Westside Rollerz

Main Article: Westside Rollerz

The Westside Rollerz are composed of Asian-Americans and Caucasians, and dress in blue. They specialize in illegal street-racing and automobiles.The gang is run by William Sharp and his nephew, Joseph Price. Donnie is the lieutenant in the Rollerz and also is their expert mechanic. The Rollerz operate from the northwest area of Stilwater, encompassing expensive suburban housing as well the area round the Stilwater stadium.

Playable Character[]

The playable character does not have a name, and is regularly called «Playa» by other characters, so this Wiki uses the name Playa.

Playa’s face, body, hair and clothes can be fully customized.

Playa is saved by 3rd Street Saints’ kingpin Julius Little and member Troy after getting caught up in the middle of a gang war between three rival gangs. Julius invites Playa back to the Saints Row Church to join the 3rd Street Saints.

Playa speaks only four lines, each occurring during the final mission of each story arc. During cut-scenes, he is always armed with only a VICE9 pistol, while all around him have K6 Krukov’s and other heavy weaponry.

Gameplay[]

Saints Row is a third-person shooter that takes place in the city of Stilwater, a large sandbox environment. The game is structured around completing main storyline missions and side activities, earning in-game Cash and other benefits to assist in future missions. These missions typically entail travelling around the city, carjacking vehicles, meeting people, collecting objects at checkpoints, facing off rival gangs in firefights, and other tasks. The game’s main story missions are split into three separate arcs, each dealing with a rival gang in Stilwater. Missions are started manually, and free-roam is available immediately after the opening cutscene, and all missions may be exited at any time to return to free-roam.

After failing a mission, there is an option to restart it immediately rather without having to return to the mission origin. It is possible to recruit fellow Saints gang members, and to unlock specal «Homies», who can either assist in missions or grant a quick benefit such as a vehicle driven to their location.

Saints Row introduces a «Respect» system that are tied to «activities» within the game. These activities are located in various places around Stilwater, and include street racing, carjacking, robbery, Drug Trafficking, pimping, kidnapping, and Insurance Fraud. Each set of activities has 8 levels representing the difficulty of the task. Completing each level earns a fixed amount of «respect» relative to the difficulty of the task. A certain level of respect must be earned in order to initiate a new mission, which can be earned by completing any activity. It is optional which activities are completed, there are no compulsory activities and it is not necessary to complete all activities in order to complete the storyline,

Stilwater is separated into Districts and Neighborhoods, initially under control of the rival gangs in the city. Neighborhoods are taken over by the Saints upon completion of Missions and Strongholds.

Police and Gang «Notoriety» bars show the current level of attention from enemies, causing Stilwater Police Department and enemy gangs to give chase.

Playa can be customised using a number of different facial and body features, hair, jewelry and tattoos, as well as numerous styles of clothing available from Stores around Stilwater. The choice of color and style of the clothes can affect the game, as by dressing in the Saints’ colors (purple) earns a respect bonus when completing activities. Additionally, vehicles can be customised at Rim Jobs with custom parts and paint jobs, and music can be purchased through Scratch That.

Saints Row (2022)

В 2021 году наконец-то прозвучал анонс новой Saints Row – без цифры и подзаголовка, так как игра станет мягким перезапуском серии.

Новый город – Санто-Илесо, новые персонажи, другая атмосфера и даже таймлайн: по словам разработчиков, в рамках предыдущих частей игроки побывали в самых разных уголках планеты, летали в космос и спускались в Ад, поэтому для новой игры было решено вернуться к истокам и перезагрузить франшизу.

Saints Row станет более приземленной и серьезной – конечно, типичные для серии глупости останутся, но от совсем уж безумных элементов авторы отказались. Игрокам предстоит принять роль Босса – главы преступной организации, что стремится подмять под себя город, поделенный между криминальными группировками. Все как по учебнику: сражения с оппонентами, захват территорий, завоевание уважения и покорение города.

Игра выйдет на РС, PS4, PS5, Xbox One и Xbox Series X. Релиз запланирован на 25 февраля 2022 года.

Биография

Происхождение:
О прошлой жизни главного героя мало что известно. Он родился в Стилуотере, вырос в районе Sunnyvale Gardens. В миссии на танкере, на котором Синдикат перевозил своих шлюх, он говорит, что видел такую же картину только в общежитии колледжа — всюду были разбросаны секс-игрушки. Если выбрать женского персонажа, то она может иногда рассказать, что отец заставлял её бороться за пищу с собаками. Это может указывать на травму детства, из-за чего и сформировался жестокий характер героя. Это же подтверждается словами героя в Saints Row IV в миссии по спасению Аши Одекар. Во время разговора главный герой говорит «Это мои родители виноваты», когда Аша говорит ему что он — тот ещё ублюдок. 

Saints Row

Прогуливаясь ночью по одному из кварталов своего города, протагонист оказывается втянут в перестрелку банд. Не смотря на то, что он старается держаться на расстоянии, его замечает бандит. Трой Бредшоу и Джулиус Литтл спасают его от смерти, Трой застрелил гангстера. Джулиус приглашает его встретиться с бандой в церкви, если он заинтересован в помощи Святым.

Около церкви собирается вся банда. После нескольких поединков с членами банды, главного героя берут в ряды Святых. Джулиус сообщает, что настало время уничтожить три враждующие группировки: Los Carnales, Westside Rollerz, Vice Kings.

Saints Row 2

Спустя 5 лет после взрыва на яхте Алдермана Хьюза, главный герой просыпается в тюремном лазарете и готовится к своему суду. Его соседом оказывается Карлос Мендоза. Карлос предлагает главному герою совершить побег, но герой сначала отнекивается, а затем соглашается. Избив врача, главный герой и Карлос проникают в общий коридор. В коридоре они избивают полицейских и получают оружие. Выйдя в тюремный двор главный герой и Карлос убивают несколько полицейских, садятся в лодку и плывут к берегу. Во время плавания Карлос рассказывает главному герою, что после распада Святых, Ultor, из компании по пошиву одежды, превратилась в огромную корпорацию, а город разделили три новые банды.

По приходу на волю, главный герой идёт в бар Tee’N’Ay, там он узнаёт, что Джонни Гэта собираются казнить за 387 убийств и за покушение на шефа полиции — Троя Бредшоу. Главный герой спешит в здание Суда и спасает Джонни. Затем главный герой и Джонни едут в дом к Аише. Там за бутылочкой пива они обсуждают план захвата города обратно. Во время этой беседы главный герой узнаёт о новых бандах в городе — Дети Самеди, действующие в центре; Братство, действующие на юге и Ронины, обитавшие на севере города. Но для того чтобы возродить Святых, нужно новое убежище. Джонни и протагонист захватывают подземелье в районе Старого Стилуотера и «выселяют» обитателей этого подземелья.

Во время войны с Детьми Самеди, главный герой застрелил Сына Ветерана, расстрелял и обезглавил Мистера Саншайна, и взорвал джип Генерала вместе с ним.

Во время борьбы с Братством, главный герой «Украшает Лицо Маэро», убивает Карлоса, чтобы он не мучился, похищает Джессику и кладёт её в багажник собственной машины, а машину ставит под грузовик Маэро, поджигает руку младшему брату Маэро, Мэтту и, наконец, на Арене Стилуотера убивает Маэро.

За время конфликта с Ронинами, главный герой победил и убил Джуничи в бою на мечах, закопал заживо Шого, и взорвал баржу, на которой находился Казуо Акуджи.

Призовая миссия

Главный герой приезжает в Церковь Святых, в надежде, что там появится Декс. Но вместо Декса приезжает Джулиус. Между героем и Джулиусом начинается схватка, которую останавливает Масако. Джулиус и герой объединяются, чтобы уничтожить Масако. После перестрелки, два героя садятся в машину Джулиуса.

Главный герой помогает Джулиусу избавиться от хвоста Масако.

Они приезжают в Амфитеатр, где сбивают 3 вертолёта. Затем герой стреляет Джулиусу в грудь, недолго с ним разговаривает, а затем убивает.

Эпилог

После захвата города обратно, начался конфликт между Ultor и Святыми. Отряд Масако пытается убить главного героя в клубе.

Протагонист может спасти Шаунди и Виолу в «хорошей» концовке, после этого Святых объявят героями, и снимут про них фильм.В «плохой» концовке протагонист убивает Киллбейна, потеряв Шаунди, Виолу и многих гражданских. Он приходит на телестудию, где в прямом эфире объявляет о том, что Стилпорт отныне независимый город-государтво.
