The Head of the Armadillo police force, Leigh Johnson informs John Marston that the town is been plagued by extortion rates by Empire Bay mobster Carlo Falcone, who intends to expand his ctiminal empire to the whole of America. Intent of robbing this mobster, John, along with Abraham Reys, Landon Rickets, and deputies Jonah and Eli set out and rob a Falcone owned bank. The manager makes a call to Carlo saying that his bank is being robbed. Carlo retaliates by sending out his 5 best men, among them Vito Scaletta and Joe Barbaro to deal with these outlaws.

Abraham notices 5 armed men heading towards the bank in a limo. and lights up a stick of dynamite. Meanwhile the 5 Falcone mobsters get out of the limo and scarper off with one Falcone mobster priming a MK2 Frag Grenade. Abraham and the mobstar throw their explosives at the same tima and both of than are killed in the others radius. (4-4)

John, after hearing the explosion, orders his remaining men to rally up in an nearby saloon, where they are being chased by the remaining mobsters. Jonah takes cover behind the bar while John tosses over a couple of tables to make cover for Eli and Landon. Vito, Joe and the 2 remaining mobsters rush into the saloon and duck for cover behind varios tables. Jonah snipes a Thompson wielding mobster with his Henry Rifle

At this point all hell breaks loose. Both sides start blind firing their weapons. Joe Barbaro moves from a table to the bar and takes cover behind the counter. Just as the Garand wielding mobstar tries to aim with his M1 Garand, Eli blasts him with his Model 1887 Winchester.

Both sides start to reload their weapons and Joe finishes first and blind fires his Thompson with a few rounds catching Eli off guard and injures Eli’s left shoulder. Joe, upon hearing Eli’s agony, finishes him off with his Thompson

Joe suppresses the 2 remaining outlaws with his Thompson, and kills Landon .

John deploys his «dead eye» shooting to defeat Joe Barbaro with his Colt Single Action Army, firing all 6 rounds into Joe

Vito flees back to his limo as John, who picks up Landon’s Colt chases him. Each man contune to fire their hand guns with neither of them being able to fire the other. John tries to counter Vito’s larger magazine by switching to the other Colt and firing but that doesn’t work either, so John ditches Landon’s Colt and reloads his own. Vito, while taking cover behind his limo and puts his hat on the barrel of a magazineless Thompson and exposes the hat. John fires his 6 rounds and attempts ro reload. Vito capitalises and fires multiple rounds of his M1911 into John’s chest. Vito goes into the saloon and recovers Carlo’s money.

WINNER: VITO SCALETTA

Expert’s Opinion

This was one of the closest battles yet. Each team had an X-Factor. John had the «dead eye» accuracy while Vito had the higher rate of fire. The deciding factor turned out to be Vito’s weapons were faster to reload than John’s.

У Линкольна есть 3 лейтенанта, которые будут помогать в управлении районами — Вито, Берк и Кассандра. От распределения районов между ними зависит получаемая продуктивность и отношения с главарем.

Чем больше территорий будет у каждого, тем больше плюшек мы в итоге получим. Старайтесь распределять части города поровну между своими соратниками и хорошо думайте, кому что отдать. Так, Французский квартал станет полезным под управлением Берка, а Вито чувствует себя как рыба в воде в River Row. Если мы выберем фаворита, и он получит максимум территорий, то остальные устроят бунт и попытаются убить вас. Такие компаньоны получат пулю в лоб, так как становятся не только бесполезны, но и опасны.

Когда район переходит к вам, то вместе с ним переходит и весь бизнес подручных Меркано. Нужно будет выбрать одного из лейтенантов в качестве нового управленца. Если до захвата района вы отжали там какой-то бизнес и отдали его, например, Вито, но при захвате всего района сделали управленцем Кассандру, то и бизнес отходит ей.

В идеале к концу игры у вас должно быть 3 лейтенанта. Чтобы сохранить хорошие отношения со всеми, нужно быть справедливым и раздавать районы поровну (условно поровну, ведь районов 10, а лейтенантов – трое). О том, что вы обидели кого-то из соратников, говорит его хамство и раздраженность. Скорее подарите ему новые земли, и хорошие отношения восстановятся. Лишаясь одного из лейтенантов, вы теряете выгодные бонусы и возможности новых достижений. По степени сговорчивости первым идет Вито, потом Кассандра и последний, самый нервный и неуравновешенный — Берк.

Fate

Nothing is known of Vito Scaletta’s fate if Lincoln decides to stay and rule New Bordeaux. If he and Lincoln managed to get through the takeover of the Marcano Crime Family without any betrayal, it is assumed he continued to lead the Italian Gang and work as Lincoln’s underboss, running whatever territories Lincoln saw fit to give him.

Vito’s empire

If Lincoln leaves New Bordeaux and Vito Scaletta assumes control of the city, he spits on Sal Marcano’s grave one last time by actually doing what Marcano couldn’t do — finishing the Paradiso Hotel & Casino. Two years later, Vito opened another casino, and after that there was an avalanche of development, with hotels, arenas, and a new convention center. Today, everyone knows New Bordeaux as the Las Vegas of the South. Vito still lives in the penthouse at the top of the Paradiso, looking out over the city he owns.

Vito approaches a clothing store and pulls out his M1911. When all of the sudden a man approaches him with a baseball bat. Vito sprints inside and takes cover behind the counter. Niko shoots at Vito with is sawn-off shot gun and blows a chunk of the counter off. Vito pulls his tommy gun out and shoots Niko in the arm. Niko runs to his car and drives away. But vito is on his tail and rearending him. Niko turns down an alleyway and gets out and takes cover.Vito does the same but he pulls out some molotov cocktails and lights Niko’s car on fire. But Niko pulls out a RPG7 and blows up Vito’s car. But finally Vito hits Niko in the arm with his M1 Grand. Vito walks up to the half way dead niko and shoots him in the head with his M1911.

WINNER: VITO SCALETTA

While Vito had a significant tech disadvantage, he had more street smarts and stronger distance weapons than Niko that won him the day.

Biography

Mafia II

Vito was born in Messina, Sicily in 1925 to a very poor family. His father took his family, which also had Vito’s mother and sister Frankie, and they moved to America and to a city called Empire Bay. But even there they could not escape poverty, and his father mostly spent his money for boozing.

Vito met Joe Barbaro, and together they got into a life of crime. However, bad luck hit Vito in 1943 when he was caught stealing and arrested when aged eighteen. He chose to join U.S. Army in the Italian campaigns rather than go to prison. He assisted in the invasion of Sicliy. In 1945, he took a bullet by a Nazi soldier and was given sick leave and returned home. Joe managed to get a man to create fake documents to state that Vito wouldn’t return to the army.

Needing to pay off his father’s debts which ended up becoming his mother and sister’s priority after his dad’s death, Vito begins to get involved in the Clemente Crime Family who Joe is working with. Vito manages to earn the two thousand dollars to pay off the debt, but is arrested for selling illegal gas stamps and sentenced to ten years in prison. While in prison he meets gangster Leo Galante and forms a friendship with him, and Vito serves only six years after Leo pulls some strings.

Twenty-six years later in 1951, Vito joins the Falcone Crime Family after his release from prison, who Joe joined up with after the Clemente’s betrayed him and Vito. Vito becomes a made man after Leo Galante recommended him, despite Leo initially wanting Vito to join the Vinci Crime Family, and they both take down the Clemente family for good when taking down the boss and his right hand man. Vito then puts in a good word for ex-Clemente soldier and friend Henry Tomasino, who is accepted into the family.

But when Henry and Joe plan to make cash on the side by drug dealing, Vito is skeptical as he was warned by another high respected mob boss Frank Vinci that dope was bad. However, he agreed netherless and they began to get involved with Chinese drug dealers. But the Triads turned against them and butchered Henry in the park, which ended up with Vito and Joe killing many triads including enforcer Zhe Yun Wong who claimed that Henry was a federal agent. This causes a war between the Triads and the mafia families after blaming them for the deaths of the Triad members. Joe and Vito also end up in a large debt after borrowing from a loan shark for the deal. They take many jobs, especially an assassination of ex-gangster and informant Tommy Angelo. Vito gets a job at the docks from Vinci Capo and Union Boss Derek Pappalardo involving a union strike caused by some of the dockwokers, one of which tells Vito that Derek was responsible for the death of Vito’s father. The enraged Vito massacres Derek, his enforcer Steve and his gangsters. Joe and Vito are then kidnapped by Vinci’s men as Frank tries to find out what is going on, but they both massacre a load of Vinci’s men and escape. Vito pays back the loan shark, finding out he was also the loan shark his father borrowed from, but decided to walk away.

Vito was called by Underboss Eddie to meet boss Carlo at his Planetarium. While heading there, Vito is told to get into a limo by a mobster, which has Leo and the Traid’s boss inside. They tell him that the only way he would walk was if he killed Carlo, who they are scared will rat everyone out when arrested. Vito agrees and heads straight to the Planetarium, where Carlo waits and tries to convince Joe to kill Vito on the agreement he will be given the role of a Capo. But Joe decides against the idea and assists Vito in taking down Carlo.

When leaving, Vito and Joe come across Leo and many gangsters waiting for them. Leo asks Vito to join him in a separate car as there is «more to talk about». Joe gets into another car, which takes him to a different direction. When Vito panics and asks Leo where the mobsters are taking Joe, Leo apologizes and states that Joe wasn’t part of their deal, and realization of the situation hits Vito, shocked that his long-life friend would be dead.

Начнем с того, что на момент событий Mafia 3 Вито 43 года, так как после событий второй части прошло уже 17 лет. При всем этом Сэла Маркано такой расклад не устраивал, и он уже был готов избавиться от Вито, как вдруг жизнь второго спасает Линкольн Клей – главный герой Mafia 3. Вито чувствует себя должником Линкольна, и встает на его сторону, собрав небольшую итальянскую группировку. Вито понимает, что работа в паре с Линкольном может принести ему территорию и деньги, а так же возможность отомстить Сэлу Маркано. В их созданной криминальной группе присутствуют также Берк и Кассандра.
